Pool Dose is a field calculator for pool technicians. Package
org.poolchemicaldose. It is not
com.linespotting.* or org.linespotting.*.
What the app stores
Site names, pool volume, alkalinity, pH readings, chemical choice, and the on-device dose log stay in local storage on this device. The same store holds a local subscription stub (free-dose count, reviewer demo, last product id). Nothing is uploaded to an app server. There is no account and no sign-in.
What the app does not collect
No analytics SDK, no advertising identifier use, no crash-reporting vendor, no location permission, no contacts, no photos, no microphone. The dose math runs on-device.
Subscriptions
Pool Dose Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: product
pooldose_pro_monthly, $4.99 USD / month, billed by Google Play.
Play processes payment. This app does not receive card numbers. Cancel in the Play Store
(Payments & subscriptions). A Play reviewer demo switch exists only so reviewers can
walk the Pro UI without a live charge.
Until Play Billing is wired on the signed AAB, subscribe / restore in this build are stubs that unlock the local Pro flag. They do not charge a real account.
Network
The packaged WebView does not load third-party fonts or analytics. Fonts ship inside the
app. The Android package declares INTERNET because Capacitor’s WebView and
future Play Billing need it. Cleartext HTTP is disabled.
Children
Pool Dose is for pool technicians, not for children. It is not directed at anyone under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
